A Note from the Principal 5-20-22
Today we celebrated both our May Crowning Prayer Service and Grandparents’/Special Friends Day! What a special prayer service to share with our special guests! After the prayer service, everyone was welcomed back to school to see our classrooms and to visit the book fair. It was so fun to have grownups in our building! This is what I’ve missed most during the pandemic. Having parents, grandparents and other volunteers in the building helping us learn and grow is an integral part of who we are as a Seton community.
Speaking of the Scholastic Book Fair, it will be running all next week. You and your children will have chances to shop on many occasions. Check the scheduled hours for more information. Volunteer if you can!
Our ABC count down has begun. We are quickly coming to the end of our school year! Don’t forget to sign up for our BLAST and our BLAST Family Carnival! The carnival is new this year and everyone is excited to come! I’m hearing about food trucks, a bounce house, and many, many games run by our 5th and 6th graders! This will be a lovely evening on Friday, June 3rd!!
Also, don’t lose out on buying/selling your raffle tickets! These tickets are limited, and the prizes are fantastic. BILLS SEASON TICKETS people!!! (Among other things)

NYS TESTING GRADE 4
Grade 4 Science- May 24 (performance) & June 6 (written)
Students in grades 3-6 are tested annually to measure their understandings relative to the New York State standards of their grade level. We are confident that with your support, our children will be prepared to do their best and not experience any unnecessary level of concern. Please assist your child by:
- Providing him/her with a good night’s rest the evenings prior to the assessment.
- Providing your child with a nourishing breakfast before each school day.
- Keeping daily routines consistent and calm at home. If your child demonstrates increased anxiety, reassure him/her that putting forth their best effort is all that is important.
THANK YOU
