Seton Catholic School
Seton Catholic School is named for the first American saint, Elizabeth Ann Seton, a nineteenth century woman of great faith and compassion who played a key role in the establishment of Catholic education in the United States.
Inspired by her vision and spirit, we strive to create a vital, faith-filled environment where each child is both cherished and challenged to be the best he or she can be.
Seton Catholic School is committed to “Building the City of God” by proclaiming the Gospel message of Jesus as taught by the Catholic Church. Seton guides students in the love and service of others and educates the total child – spiritually, physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially.
We offer a rich tapestry of learning . . .
Seton Catholic School encompasses grades Kindergarten through sixth. Our curriculum meets all requirements of Diocesan Catholic Schools, exceeds those established by the NYS Education Department, and is aligned with the NYS Common Core Standards. Seton is also accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Complete Title 1 tutoring is available, providing quality, supplementary academic instruction to students in need of this assistance.
On a more personalized level, Seton is blessed with a rich tapestry of learning programs from art to language arts, social studies and beyond. Students in all grades participate in field trips, interactive learning experiences, computer labs, visiting school activities and other exceptional educational opportunities that broaden their horizons and help develop specialized interests for the future.
